On the Wednesday the year 5/6 D went on  the oval to play a game of Tee ball against 5/6P. First we had to count how many players we had 5/6P had 10 and us we had 7. 5/6P batted that means the we field 5/6 P scored heaps of runs. Next we were batting we scored as much points as 5/6P. Then the second bit of the Tee Ball we batted then feilded. Then the last bit of the Tee ball every was tried but we did our best. That efort that we put in it made us  WIN against 5/6P. And now we are in the Semi Finals on the 23rd of May we are playing against 5/6H.

Last Wednesday the 5\6 department went to Brauer Collage to do some activities. First we did Cooking with one 0f the Brauer Collage teachers We made Cake pops the cake was an Apicot ball. I made the eyes to my cake pop a smartie and my ears a  half of a marshmallow.  Next we went to the wood work we got segt up at a bench there was a hammer and some nail the teacher told us that we where making a tool box so i nail all the nails in and it truned out to be a great tool box and i gave it to my mum. Next we went to sceince the teachers did a experement it was called elephants toothpaste it was yellow foam coming out of a tube it was cool the we made a boucey ball i made my boucey ball blue andbouced anywhere it liked to.

 In Term 1  writing two has been doing persuasive writing we have done Chewing gum should not be allowed at school and the Brain is better than a computer and my favourite was the Chewing Gum because you had to look up the infomation.

 Persuasive text is made up with a series of arguments, Scientific words to exited the readers so they can believe you and go with your persuasive text and to persuade your readers to agree only if you had a lot of powerful words like “Come on guys you have to believe me”

 On Friday the 8th our class 56d went to the Angerls Club. We went inside and some people taught us how to check the size of the fish and how to set the fish free.After they taught us about fishing and our waterways they tock us fishing it tock a while I was realy happy that I caught somthing it was a worm tube.Then we headed back to school and had lunch it was  a great day and it was fun to.

On the first week of the holidays  went to Horsham to see my mum’s friend to watch the Grand Final. then I saw my cousins and my Nan and Pop. Then we came home.

On the second week of the holidays. I went to Melbourne to go to the Zoo to see the animals my favouite was the Buterfly Room. After that I went to see my cousins then we came home to clean up.
