On Friday the 29th the year 56 cricket team got to play on the MCG for the state title. In our first game we won by about 40 runs and I swan the bat in the game and i got a 6 I was really proud of myself.
In the next game we tried our best and it was not our best game we won by about 15 runs we took a couple of catchs and dropped so too.
In our Final game we had to win so we had a chance to go in the grand final. We batted first and we got caught out about 8 times but we kept positive and kept hitted those balls over the four line. When it was time to bowl I bowled pretty well when I was behind the stumps Olivia bowled and I did not catched the ball that she bowled the batting team deicided to run so I picked up the ball and I started to run against the girl that was going to Olivia I was beside her and I thought that I would never make it so I ran faster and all the parents were saying through it but i just ran faster by the time I was near the next stumps and I just under armed the ball and it hit the stumps just before the batting team just got past the cruse. When I knew that I it was out I triped over and fell on the grass celabrating my out. At the end we got the results and WE WON BY 4 RUNS so that ment that we were in the FINALS.
In the final the team that we were verused caught alot of us out we were diapioned untill Grace came in batting she hit 4 12s and that ment that we had 48 runs when we were fielding we did our best and caught alot as they did at the end they did not tell us trhe score untill presentations. Presentations came and they said what we would get if we won the other team knew they won so did we and they were saying OH MY we are going to get a Ipad but when the people said that we won the busted into tears but East Screamed with joy because
On the 24th of October 15 students went to Warrnambool College to see what they were doing next year in 2014. We went on a bus and I sat next to Emerson and behind us was Laura and Alannah.When we got there we got a tour around the school so we know what is where like the Science room and the Girls room. We went around the school for about half an hour and we stoped at the Art room to do some Screan Printing and Paniting. After we had finished we hadto go on the bus again to go back to school.
On Thursday in the second week of the the holidys Emerson came over for a sleepover.We played some board games and watched some movies. In the morning we cooked some Yoyo Biscuites and some Death by Chocolate Cupcakes, After we finished the Cupcakes and the Yoyos,we went outside to jump on the trampoline. By the end of the trampoline jumping it was time for Emerson to go home.
In Inquiry we are doing a Human Photo, We got into groups of 5 and we started to talk about what we are going to do. At the start we had a thought about a talent show but it did not tell a story so we did the Vacation.Today we are taking the photos of us going to the beach.
On the 31st of July some of the parliament people came to our school. They taught us how they they make rules about Should school kids play 3 hours of sports a week. We were pretending that we where in the green room at Parliament House. The person who was running it pick me to be Madam Speaker. At the end the agurment was that School kids should play 3 hours of sport a week.
On Friday the 5/6s are going out of the school to do winter sports. We are in groups and I am in group 6 with some of my friends. We do winter sports for 8 weeks. This week we are going to a Karate place to learn some things about Karate.
Term 2 was fun and a lot was on. My favourite thing this term was Play it again performing arts at our school. It was fun and I made some new friends from a different schools. This Term at the end of the week year 6s are getting up in front of the school an doing a skipping performance we have finish and we are running it through today. Then the netball team is going to play a game of netball against the teachers it is going to be a tough game but it will be fun.
During this week me and the year 6s with Mr Millard are working on a routine to show the school. We are doing long ropes ad short ropes as well, these are the choice we got to chose from the long ropes Double Dutch, Figure 8, Zig Zag and down the line. We have some spinners that will spin the rope for us. We have finish our routine but we need to do some touch ups so it looks good. It is 1 more week till we show the school we are very excited
On the 5th of June 2013 our school Netball team went to st joesphs to play netball. We played all the schools in Warrnambool just not Merrivale. Our team did our best and we won against West Jamo and lost against St Pies and Joes. We had fun and over all came 4th.
A couple of weeks ago I went to Warrnambool Colleges open night. We started in their hall then we went to all the classes that that the Warrnambool College people in them they talked to use in between the class rooms. Their was alot of opputunties to o in the class rooms. At the end it was 9:00 I was really tied But I had a GOOD NIGHT.
